AskSteveFirst

Privacy and data sharing

AskSteveFirst is designed so you can explore your options privately first. You decide what to share, when to share it, and with whom.

No phone number or email needed to start

You can build your Financial Snapshot and review educational estimates without providing contact information. Contact details are only requested if and when you choose to ask for professional help.

Nothing is sent to a professional unless you ask

Your Snapshot and estimates are not sent to an attorney, debt-management organization, or any other professional automatically. Before anything is shared, you are shown what information would be sent and why, and you must confirm the request yourself.

What is stored

The details you enter into your Financial Snapshot, such as debts, income, expenses, assets, and goals, are stored so you can save your progress, review your estimates, and return later without starting over. This information is used to generate your educational estimates and is not sold to third parties.

You stay in control

You can review, correct, or update the information in your Snapshot at any time. You choose whether to save it, download it, or share it, and you decide if and when to request professional help.

This page is educational information, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Rules, dollar figures, and procedures change and may apply differently to your situation. Any estimate on AskSteveFirst is an educational estimate, not a guarantee of eligibility or outcome.
